It provides us with the necessary nutrients, vitamins, and minerals to keep our bodies healthy and functioning property. A healthy and balanced diet is crucial for maintaining good health and preventing chronic diseases. However food is not just important for our physical health but also for our social and emotional well-being. Learning about Food: The food walk module provide an opportunity for the students to learn about the importance of food and the different practices involved in preparing it. The students learned about the importance of choosing healthy and nutrients ingredients and the different cooking methods that can be enhance the flavor and nutritional value of food. Covering more than 70% of Earth, this indispensable resource is used for everything from drinking, bathing to even cooking and washing activities. What we typically think of as a mushroom is the fleshy, fruiting, spore-bearing body of a fungus.  Mushrooms form from a small structure called a primordium which grows on some type of substrate.                           MODULE 2:HERITAGE TOUR The heritage walk is an activity that involves exploring and learning about historical and cultural sites in a particular area. It is an excellent way to understand the rich cultural heritage and history of a place and promotes a sense of connection with the past.   NALKANAD PALACE: Nalknad Aramane is located a village named Yavakapadi in the Kakkabe town of the Coorg region. Nalknad Palace has been built by a Haleri ruler Dodda Virarajendra in the year of 1792. This was built by him after he escaped from the Tippu sultan's troops. Dodda Virarajendra is said to have married Mahadevammaji at this place in 1796. In order to protect against enemy armies, Dodda Virarajendra built an underground tunnel which originated from the palace and ended at Madikeri. This aids devopping and dessimination of location specific technologies at district level. Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Gonikoppal is the first ICAR KVK in Karnataka was established on 16th December 1976 under Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bengaluru in Kodagu District. Initially it was functioning at Chettalli, under Central Horticultural Experimental Station (CHES). Later during the year 1992, the erstwhile Citrus Experimental Station, Gonikoppal activities were shifted to Chettalli and Krishi Vigyan Kendra started functioning at Gonikoppal
